Leave Policies
- Annual Leave: At least 30 days of paid leave annually (15 days can be consecutive)
- Sick Leave: Paid at 50% of the standard rate by social security for up to 26 weeks after the third day of absence (if social security contributions are met)
- Maternity Leave: Minimum of 14 weeks, with 6 weeks compulsory post-childbirth leave
- Paternity Leave: No statutory provision
Bonuses & Gratuities
- Mandatory Bonuses:
- National Independence Day bonus: 15 days’ salary before October 12
- Christmas bonus: Paid before December 24
- Gratuity Payments: One month’s salary per year of service (up to 12 months) for justified resignations
- Severance Payments: One month’s salary per year of service (up to 12 months) for unjustified terminations
Fringe Benefits
